Excessive bending / Leverage

Bending stress exceeds material strength causing tool to break. This is caused by wrong working angle or mechanical leverage. Failure type is brittle fracture with a typical lip formation. (Warranty Claim REJECTED)
Seizing in tool bushings, wrong or insufficient lubrication

Strong side load and striking at the same time cause the tool and tool bushing surface to be damaged. This is caused by wrong working angle, wrong or insufficient lubrication or both. Failure type is Fatigue fracture which starts from the surface. (Warranty Claim REJECTED)
Overheating

Driving the tool-end into hard, dense material for too long a period of time without penetration, will overheat the tool-end. The overheating will soften the tool-end causing it to mushroom, peel and wear fast. (Warranty Claim REJECTED)
Blank Firing

This will cause heavy wear on tool retainer groove leading to breaking the tool at the groove area. (Warranty Claim REJECTED)
Breaking or fast wear of chisel tip

Is caused by wrong selection of tool or hammer size to suit the application. Also inappropriate operation such as breaking into reinforcing bars.(Warranty Claim REJECTED)
Mechanical Damage

On the tool surface caused by heavy scratching or scouring leading to a fatigue fracture. Failure occurs outside tool bushings. (Warranty Claim REJECTED)
Material Fault

‘Fatigue Failure’ which starts from the inside of the tool. (Warranty Claim ACCEPTED Subject to Approval)
